GROUNDBREAKING

Construction officially began as work started to prepare the alley for its transformation. Repaving and site improvements laid the foundation for the artwork and future amenities.

IN THE NEWS: ONEZONE DONATES TO THE ART ALLEY

The OneZone Chamber of Commerce contributed $5,500 to help bring the Art Alley to life! Their investment will help strengthen our community by attracting visitors to our town.

FUNDRAISING GOAL REACHED

Sheridan Main Street announced that the Art Alley campaign had raised $79,305, far surpassing its original fundraising goal. The incredible response from the community unlocked matching grant funding and demonstrated an overwhelming enthusiasm for bringing public art to downtown Sheridan.

IN THE NEWS: HAMILTON COUNTY TOURISM GRANT AWARDED

Support from Hamilton County Tourism awarded grant funding to help move the project forward! The regional investment in Sheridan's growing downtown destination is appreciated.

Sheridan Main Street unveiled its plans for the Art Alley, highlighting the proposed mural, public gathering spaces, and the collaborative effort to strengthen downtown Sheridan through public art.

HERRON STUDENTS VISIT THE ALLEY

Students from the Basile Center met with the Art Alley steering committee and toured the alley to better understand the space, gather inspiration, and begin developing ideas for the mural.
